Toddlers should feel free to explore their room at their own pace during play time. Our teachers are trained to teach an assortment of activities to the toddlers in a way that is fun and exciting, leaving their expanding minds eager to learn more.
To ensure that our toddlers physical developments are met, they are provided with toys and materials that include: Large muscle- equipment and toys such as climbing, walking, and throwing; Balance- using riding toys and obstacles; Small muscle- toys for hand/eye coordination like kitchen and tool sets, blocks, coloring, painting.
For Intellectual Development the toddlers are engaged in activities related to: Language, where speech, conversations, and reading are encouraged; Cognitive learning, where problem solving, is inspired by touching, looking, manipulating, and listening; Creative learning is enlivened with dramatic play, blocks, and musical instruments.
Emotional Development is promoted through positive reinforcement to boost their self esteem. We also let toddlers have choices, we encourage self motivation and self help skills to gain independence.
Toddlers are encouraged to participate and assist during individual and group activities to build their social development skills.
